Graduate Research Student Orientation
UCD Graduate Studies invites all incoming graduate students on a research programme (i.e Doctoral, MD and Research Master’s degree programmes) to attend our graduate orientation programme on Wednesday, 17th September 2025 from 10:00am to 12:00. Tea/coffee will be served from 9:30am. (Venue TBC)
This event is intended to give research students a helpful overview of key information and supports at UCD as well as an opportunity for you to meet other incoming research students from across the University.

GradsCONNECT welcome
This is a welcome event for all new graduate students who are on taught programmes, such as Master’s and Higher Diploma degrees. GradsCONNECT will take place on Tuesday 23rd September 2025 from 16:00 to 18:00 in O'Reilly Hall where UCD President, Professor Orla Feely will welcome you to UCD. This event is an opportunity for incoming graduate students to meet each other and liaise with representatives from a host of student support services who will be present (i.e. Registry, Library, Access services, Student Advisors, Global, Students Union, Student Centre and more), followed by refreshments in the conservatory.
